Peter W. Cardebring is an Economist and Senior Port Management Consultant with 25 years professional experience in economic analysis with a special focus on transport related matters in the maritime business. During his professional career he gained deep insight into various fields of ports, shipping, multi-modal transport and port’s hinterland development.
Peter was earlier Market Director at BMT Transport Solutions, Hamburg, and joined HPC Hamburg Port Consulting in 2007. Lately he has been managing port development projects in Ghana, Egypt, Qatar, Yemen, Kuwait, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Guyana.
Peter has large experience within the areas:
• Shipping and port market analyses and management, RoRo-and Container port market assessment and conceptual development, ferry port terminal layout and container terminal layout
• International project management with a large experience as Team Leader in more than 15-20 international projects,
• Analyses, feasibility studies and projects in the field of strategic port development, intermodal transport concepts and strategies for locations of intermodal freight centres and hubs
