As the CEO of Agence de Prestations Maritimes S.A and President of KPMO; Gabriel Manimben is both diligent in his managerial practice and committed to the logistics industry.
Alongside a few other Cameroonians, he created APM in 2002 after serving for 11 years in the Transport industry with established and respected firms. With the imminent launch of the Kribi deep sea port, he joined brains with established companies at the Douala sea port to come up with the Kribi Port Multi-Operators (KPMO) company and his know-how led the group being awarded the management of the breakbulk terminal of that port. His leadership capacities make him stand today as President of that Consortium.
His main area of specialization is logistics with peculiar interest for the creation of enterprises which has led him to receive several awards in that while.
Prior to the creation of APM in 2004, he worked with renowned companies such as ASAT, SOCAMAC, CAM CAMEROON etc. where he occupied top executive posts.
Aside from managerial skills, he is an imminent speaker and inspirational in several national and international ceremonies. He is a frequent face on national and foreign TV programs but also, a constant voice on national and foreign newspapers to share his expertise.
Born in 1965 and bred in NITOUKOU (Center Region of Cameroon), he obtained his Bachelor of Management degree from the University of Yaounde in 1991 and in the course of the same year, he obtained the certificate of Customs declaration. Upon obtaining this certificate, he got inserted in to the freight forwarding sector of activities from where he outstands today.
Married to Mrs Ongbolepa Epse Manimben Veronique for over 20 years with whom he begot 3 kids, he is also a philanthropist, a political leader and guardian to numerous needy
